The MAGLUE project is now underway

Posted on 17 June 2015.

The MAGLUE project is now underway with the kick off meeting held on 6th March 2015. The project is set to continue research started by the NERC Carbo-BioCrop and ETI-ELUM projects in order to fill research gaps in GHG emissions associated with LUC to bioenergy crops. MAGLUE will utilise existing field sites, collecting further data, alongside collecting case study data, and developing models. Through the network of sites, modelling and expertise, we will be able to better understand the effects of LUC and disseminate this developing understanding to a wider community including policy makers, farmers, energy companies, environmental agencies and the scientific community.
